Fun place. College vibe, of course! Deep fried pickles are awesome. Always someone out cleaning tables and making sure the tables are clean. Food is good for burgers and fries.

I was at WSU from 1974 to 1980. I used to save my quarters to go there. The burgers were the best ever. I sure wish I knew how they cook them or the source of meat. 5 star rating.

NEW MANAGEMENT. This place was bought by another local business owner after being closed for a long period. The food is great, the staff friendly, and the prices fair. I'm glad Cougar Country opened back up as it's a favorite place to get an ice cream shake and fries.

Awful. The grilled chicken sandwich was SOAKED in Mayo. Both sides of the bun. We waited in the lobby for at least 25 mins. Food was bland and expensive. Only thing I would get from there would be ice cream. Nothing else.

Always a great place to visit when we come back to Pullman. The shakes are hard to beat. Took off a star because of the drive through situation.

We used to eat here regularly before the new owners and couldn't wait to go back again when it was reopened. This was the only and will be the last time I will come back. The drive-through is dangerous. There is only room for 2 cars, then your car sticks out into a major arterial. The milkshake was terrible. I forced myself to drink half of it. The prices were extremely expensive. I could eat at a fancy hamburger place, like The Onion, eg, for the price I paid here. Personally, though, I understand that the new owners have large expenses, so I was willing to pay their prices. This is just my observation about my experience. As I said, I will never be back, and that is sad.

I grew up eating cougar country, and now it's completely different. I understand that there are new owners, but the customer service I got at the drive through was horrible. The workers acted like they didn't want to be there. They also got my meal wrong, which sucks since it's pretty expensive there, now. The food tasted good, at least. I won't be going back until something changes with their customer service.

Delicious food, clean furnishings, and a relaxing atmosphere. There is a large selection of food choices. They even have Steak Fingers! Sadly no country gravy. This is something they could take a cue from Dairy Queen

The burgers are priced as if they were restaurant quality when they are truck stop quality at best this business wouldn't survive in any regular town.

Since the new owners the service has steadily declined. I come here frequently when I come to Pullman. I loved the speedy and personal service from the original owners. Now with the kiosks it seems the staff doesnt stay up front to take orders other than the person taking the drive through orders. This is very disappointing as this has been a favorite of mine since 1985.

Waited over an hour for a chicken basket. Food and service has declined since new owners.

A landmark and institution. Many generations of Cougs have dined on these hearty burgers and fries. You will leave full.

New management, same great burger spot! The staff are friendly, service is quick, and the food is good. There's a reason it's always busy here!

Decided to go to Cougar Country for dinner, hadn't had anything from there since before they closed, hopes were high. Placed our order, 2 clam strip baskets. Service was slow at best, there were only 2 orders before us and a few after us, not crowded at all. It took them 20 plus minutes to get our food. When we recieved our food, we took it home to only discover that it was burnt. I called them to let them know that our food was burnt, they asked if we would like something else or if we would like them to remake our food. I asked them to remake our order which they did. The second order was ready when we returned to pick it, they were not burnt. The helping was large, and the clams strips were crispy and the clams were perfect.Other then the miss hap and very very slow service, everyone was friendly, and they were willing to make the order correct.Maybe I will wait awhile before I return.

The only good thing about my meal was the Cyclone. Everything else was completely burnt.
